Drugstore Secret Puts the BRAKES on Brain Aging
The best thing you can do for your cognitive health is to fix your lifestyle.
Clean up your habits, and you’ll clean up your brain.
You might read that and think, “Doc, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”
I’m not going to argue on that point. Instead, I’ll just show you why it’s NOT true.
Because incorporating this easy, effective drugstore solution into your daily routine is as easy as pie.
It’s a fix ANYONE can make. And it can naturally combat cognitive decline.
There are many reasons people choose to take multivitamins. And now, new research has us adding cognitive decline prevention to that list.
COSMOS (Cocoa Supplement and Multivitamin Outcomes Study) was a randomized trial that tested the effects of cocoa supplements and multivitamins.
Two previous studies have already linked taking a daily multivitamin to positive changes in cognitive function.
However, those studies were based on telephone and web-based cognitive assessments.
This study was different because researchers conducted in-person cognitive assessments, which tend to be more accurate.
Episodic memory allows us to learn, store, and retrieve detailed information about experiences in our daily lives. It often includes specifics about “when” and “where,” as well as the event itself.
So, as you can imagine, it’s critical to living a happy, connected, and fulfilled life.
The researchers found that taking a daily multivitamin for two years was connected to a statistically significant improvement in episodic memory.
Then, a meta-analysis of the data from all three studies found strong evidence that multivitamins slow cognitive aging.
Whether you’re making changes like exercising more and eating healthier or not (and I certainly hope you ARE), taking a daily multivitamin could be a good way to fill in any gaps… and to ensure that your brain stays in good working order well into your golden years.
P.S. 3 TOP nutrients to battle brain aging.
