Are Your Grandkids Eating THIS Poison?!
Most of the foods located in the center aisle of the grocery store shouldn’t come with “nutrition” labels… they should come with WARNING LABELS.
The food stocking those shelves is single-handedly responsible for more sickness, disease, disability, and death than smoking, air pollution, or any other pollutant you think of.
And now, researchers have identified a specific food additive that’s wreaking havoc on just about every American’s health.
It’s already banned in parts of Europe… and chances are your grandkids are eating it regularly.
If you need more reasons to quit eating processed junk food, here’s another one to add to the list.
This particular additive—called E171—is designed to make products look whiter and more opaque. It’s found in foods like desserts, candy, beverages, and gum.
Hardly surprising, then, that exposure to E171 is up to FOUR TIMES HIGHER in US children than in adults.
One of the reasons why additives like these are so harmful is because of their size. They’re part of a class of additives called foodborne titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2).
At smaller than 100 nanometers, it’s easier for them to get absorbed into your tissues.
And this is a major problem because E171 causes dangerous changes in your gut microbiome—the community of bacteria living in your body.
A recent study showed that this chemical led to decreased fecal levels of short-chain fatty acids (important for colon health), and increases in inflammation.
It also caused changes in protein expression in the liver.
Here’s the kicker. This food additive is banned in certain European countries because of studies suggesting it causes immune system problems and precancerous lesions in the intestines.
So why does the US continue to knowingly allow poisons like this to be dumped into your food supply?
Clearly, the FDA is not doing its job to protect you.
But you don’t need the FDA to protect you. You just need good ‘ol common sense.
And common sense tells you that the fake foods lining the aisles of the grocery store are empty calories that are only good for feeding disease and speeding death.
Don’t get sucked into that sugary trap.
The best kind of food is the one that doesn’t need a label.
A tomato is a tomato.
A steak is a steak.
Salmon is salmon.
If you DO look for labels, look for ones like “organic,” “grass-fed,” or “wild-caught.”
