STOP Sciatica Pain in 15 Minutes!
Sciatica pain can be crippling.
It causes a sharp pain that radiates from your lower spine, through your buttocks, and down your leg.
Some say it feels like an electric shock.
Bedrest and hot/cold therapies can be effective. Physical therapy can help you learn to take pressure off of your sciatic nerve.
But if you want real relief, real fast… there’s an alternative approach that can provide relief in as little as 15 minutes.
CBD is finally gaining acceptance for its powerful medicinal properties—and it’s about time.
Studies of a drug that contains both CBD (marijuana’s non-psychoactive component) and THC (the psychoactive component) have shown that it is effective in treating neuropathic pain associated with multiple sclerosis.
Neuropathic pain is a shooting, burning pain that’s typically caused by nerve damage or a malfunctioning nervous system.
What does this have to do with sciatica?
Both are causes of neuropathic pain.
Another study confirmed the ability of this CBD/THC combo to treat neuropathic pain in MS, and a third study showed its ability to treat central and peripheral neuropathic pain, rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer.
But not everyone is comfortable using the THC component of cannabis… and the good news is you don’t have to.
Plenty of other studies have demonstrated the benefits of CBD alone for combatting pain and inflammation. (I’ve told you about this before.)
A study of rats with arthritis found that a CBD gel significantly reduced pain and inflammation.
And a review of the medical literature concluded that CBD poses significant analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities.
This is important, since inflammation plays a role in sciatica pain.
Other studies have confirmed CBD’s anti-inflammatory activities, with studies showing it reduces inflammation in acute lung injuries, oxidative stress, chronic inflammation of the gut, and neural inflammation related to Alzheimer’s disease.
There are numerous ways to use CBD for neuropathic pain (whether from sciatica, MS, or something else), including oils, capsules, or topicals.
Oils (placed under the tongue with a dropper) and topicals (rubbed directly at the site of pain) work in as little as 15 minutes, while capsules take an hour or more.
If you’re considering using CBD, talk to your doctor first, as it could potentially interfere with other drugs you may be taking.
