Dangerous Food SKYROCKETS Heart Failure Risk 37%!
Sometimes being healthy is about what you DO… like exercising, managing stress, and eating more of certain types of foods.
But being healthy is also about what you DON’T do.
Like not smoking, not drinking too much, and not being around toxic cancer-causing chemicals.
Today, I’m going to tell you about something you’ll want to be sure to avoid.
Because a recent study showed that even eating extremely small portions of this dangerous food can send your risk of heart disease, heart attack, and stroke skyrocketing.
Finding a way to reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke is a surefire way to stay healthier longer—and to live longer, too.
Turns out there’s a simple way to do that:
Stop eating fried food.
I’m sure you already know that fried food is bad for you… but just HOW bad it is might come as a surprise.
In a recent study published in the journal Heart, researchers found that compared to those who ate the least amount of fried foods, those who ate the most had a…
- 28 percent higher risk of suffering a major cardiac event
- 22 percent higher risk of coronary heart disease
- 37 percent higher risk of heart failure
Plus, for each additional weekly serving of 114 grams/4 ounces/.5 cups of fried foods, the risk of heart failure ROSE by 12 percent!
To put that in perspective, that’s like eating an order of medium French fries from McDonalds.
Yes, that’s all it takes to dramatically increase your risk of major heart problems.
One of the main reasons why fried food is so dangerous for your health is because it is loaded with trans fats.
They’re so unhealthy that the FDA actually banned them back in 2015, but regulatory loopholes gave these products until 2021 to be circulated out of the marketplace.
And in another loophole, a food can be labeled as 0 trans fats yet still legally contain up to .5 grams.
With trans fats being in foods ranging from fried foods to coffee creamer to frozen pizza, you can see how eating “zero” trans fats could add up pretty quickly.
But one sure way to avoid them is to skip the fried foods.
Your waistline will thank you—and so will your heart.
