Longevity BOOST Takes Just 30 Min a Day?
There’s something each one of us has in common…
We all want to live long, healthy lives.
And since you’re reading this article, chances are you’re already taking steps to keep adding those candles to your birthday cake.
Like eating a well-balanced diet, taking supplements when needed, and opting for safer, natural treatments (as opposed to Big Pharma’s side effects-laden drugs).
But there’s still one, key way to BOOST your longevity…
And it only takes 30 minutes a day.
I always encourage you to get more exercise.
It’s good for your body, your brain, your mood, and so much more.
But how much — or little — do you need to do to see a MAJOR benefit?
Researchers have found the answer — and it’s not nearly as much as you’d think.
The magic number? Thirty minutes per day.
And I’m not talking about 30 minutes of KILLING it in the gym. But rather just a nice, leisurely 30-minute stroll outside.
That’s right, just a half hour of walking every day yields some impressive health benefits.
Let’s take a look:
Thirty minutes of walking per day lowers your risk of heart disease and stroke by 35 percent. And it reduces your risk of type 2 diabetes by 40 percent.
This makes sense, since it can strengthen your heart muscle, increase blood circulation, and improve resting heart rate and blood pressure levels.
Just 30 minutes per day can also help your weight under control.
And other studies have showed that as little as 10 minutes of walking per day can improve memory and cognition.
That’s because it boosts blood flow to your brain, which means better energy, oxygen, and stronger neural performance.
If walking can help your heart, your brain, and your waistline… then it should come as no surprise that it can even help you live longer, too.
In one study, adults who walked 30 minutes per day, 5 days per week were 67 percent less likely to die over the course of the study.
And every 30-minute exercise session was associated with a 20 percent lower risk of dying from any cause.
And another study showed that just 20 minutes of walking every cut the risk of death by up to 30 percent.
The bottom line is that just a little bit of time and energy can deliver big results for your health.
It’s a beautiful day today… I think I’ll go take a walk.
