“Diet Devil” Is A Weight Loss Angel in Disguise
They say with age comes wisdom.
But you and I both know the truth. With each passing year comes a few extra POUNDS.
Gaining weight as you age almost seems inevitable.
After all, you watch what you eat like a hawk… count every calorie… exercise all the time… and drink enough water to float a boat…
Yet the pounds just keep packing on.
Well, it turns out passing on this “devil” food may be a mistake that’s making you BIGGER.
You’ve probably avoided this food for years because the mainstream swears it will make your waistline balloon.
But research shows that this snack food actually helps you feel full faster. And that can naturally STOP you from gaining weight.
(Plus, scientists say it can help balance your blood sugar, too!)
Nuts really are the perfect healthy snack. And now that we’ve entered the holiday season, they’ll be showing up everywhere.
Unfortunately, these wonder foods usually get a bad rap.
Nuts are loaded with powerful nutrients like magnesium, vitamin E, and calcium. But people are afraid to eat them because they’re also high in fat content.
But don’t worry. These tasty treats WON’T sabotage your weight.
In fact, two recent studies show eating nuts can be great for your waistline.
In the first study, researchers examined the diets and weight gain of more than 125,000 people.
In the end, they found that folks who ate one serving – about a handful– of nuts daily were LESS likely to gain weight or become obese.
In the second study, researchers compared eating 20 grams of Brazil nuts (about 5 nuts) to eating 36 grams of pretzels. (The nuts and pretzels had the same amount of calories and sodium.)
The nuts and the pretzels increased the feeling of fullness and reduced hunger. But the nuts produced the greatest sense of fullness and satisfaction.
But here’s where the BIG came in…
The pretzels sent blood glucose and insulin levels rising. The nuts, on the other hand, were linked to STABILIZED after-meal blood glucose and insulin levels.
This is a huge finding since maintaining healthy glucose levels helps reduce your risk of obesity and diabetes.
In other words, these studies show that nuts can help you feel fuller and support healthier blood sugar levels leading to better control over your weight.
Sounds like the perfect diet food to me!
P.S. THIS super-nutrient… found in nuts, seafood, and eggs… has been shown to dramatically impact Alzheimer’s risk. Click here for all the exciting details.
