Can Your Computer CAUSE Diabetes?
If you don’t have diabetes, there’s a good chance you don’t worry about your blood sugar. Most folks in your shoes don’t.
But that’s a mistake.
You see, eating sugar-laden foods can cause blood-sugar spikes that are every bit as damaging as if you have type 2 diabetes.
This can include harming your heart, kidneys, eyesight, and nerves.
So, whether you have type 2 diabetes or not, you can benefit from this latest discovery about a unique way to balance your blood sugar levels… and it has nothing to do with your diet.
New research reveals that red-light therapy can significantly slash blood sugar.
In the breakthrough study, shining a red-light device on a person’s back for 15 minutes, 45 minutes before drinking a glucose drink, led to a stunning 27.7 percent plunge in blood sugar levels.
It also reduced the maximum glucose spike by 7.5 percent.
The researchers say the frequency of 670 nanometers of red light increased how much glucose the body utilized… taking it out of the bloodstream… by stimulating energy production in the mitochondria (the powerhouses of your cells).
Earlier animal research confirms this same “sweet spot” frequency reduces blood glucose by increasing adenosine triphosphate or ATP (small molecules that store the energy produced by mitochondria) production.
On the flip side is something I’ve often warned you about right here in Natural Health Today. Too much blue light and not enough red negatively impact mitochondrial function and ATP production… which can BOOST blood sugar levels.
That’s because an imbalance of light STARVES your cells of the energy they need to function efficiently.
This could have significant consequences for every single one of us since we’re ALL bombarded with excess blue light from the abundance of tech devices and LED lights we’re surrounded with. In other words, your computer could send your diabetes risk soaring.
So, what’s the solution?
You could buy a red-light device to boost your exposure to red frequencies. (More on that in a moment.)
OR you could do what Nature intended and spend more time in the sun!
The sun has the ideal balance of red and blue that your body needs at each point in the day. This sets your circadian rhythm and also gives your body the energy it needs to help maintain healthy blood sugar levels.
I’ve used non-invasive red-light therapy with my patients for decades. But for a different reason… pain relief. This therapy not only eases pain, it can potentially repair underlying damage.
Subscribers to my Natural Health Response newsletter can learn more about red-light therapy (photobiomodulation) in the January issue… including the only machines I recommend.
