Supercharge Your Nutrition for Just 30 Cents Per Day
Food insecurity is a major health concern all over the world.
The term applies to those who don’t have access to food that’s essential for good health and normal growth and development.
This isn’t just a Third World problem, either.
In fact, you could be facing food insecurity and its nutritional consequences yourself… and not even realize it.
Nearly one-fifth of households in the U.S. battle food insecurity.
That means children in these homes could face significant health challenges as they age.
However, the problem doesn’t end there because seniors often have a hard time affording their groceries, too. According to the National Council on Aging, roughly seven million older Americans faced food insecurity in 2022.
However, a recent study identified ONE low-cost food that can help reduce the risk of nutritional gaps among folks who struggle to put meals on the table.
When it comes to healthy foods, it doesn’t get much more nutrient-packed—or cheaper—than eggs.
In a recent study, researchers wanted to find out what eating ONE EGG a day would do to the nutritional status of adolescents in the U.S.
At the start of the study, more than 60 percent were at risk of not getting enough of several necessary nutrients from their diet, including calcium, magnesium, and choline, and more than 80 percent were at risk of inadequacy in vitamins D and E.
The study also found that nearly 50 percent of the participants never ate eggs!
However, since they’re chock full of critical nutrients, including B vitamins, choline, selenium, vitamin D, vitamin E, calcium, zinc, and protein, adding just ONE egg to their daily diet significantly improved their nutritional intake.
Eggs are considered a complete protein because they contain all nine amino acids.
They’re also a great source of healthy fat, something growing children need for brain development, nutrient absorption, energy, and hormones, and seniors need to support heart, brain, and joint health.
In fact, these are the SAME reasons that eggs are great for EVERYONE, regardless of your age or health status.
There’s been a lot of talk in the past year or so about the rising cost of groceries, especially eggs.
Prices indeed ballooned by about 83 percent from 2019 to 2024. But despite this, you can still purchase eggs for less than 30 cents per egg.
If you’re looking for a low-cost way to increase your nutrient intake, eggs hit the mark. So, get crackin’.
P.S. The TRUTH about eggs and heart health.
